How to cancel GoodShort
Cancel in the place you paid: Apple, Google Play, or GoodShort's own website. Deleting the app does not stop the charge. A pass renews every week until you cancel it where you bought it.
First, where did you pay?
- On an iPhone or iPad: almost always through Apple.
- On an Android phone: almost always through Google Play.
- On GoodShort's website, with a card or PayPal: in your account there.
Not sure? Look for the receipt in your email. It comes from Apple, from Google, or from GoodShort.
Cancel GoodShort on iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the GoodShort subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.
These are Apple's steps. No Cancel button, or an expiry date shown in red, means it is already cancelled. Apple Support

- Select the GoodShort subscription.

If you paid on GoodShort's website
GoodShort's user agreement says you can cancel at any time and keep access until the paid period ends, and that you must cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. If you subscribed through Apple or Google you cancel in that store's subscription settings; if you subscribed on the website you switch off "Renew" on the subscription page at goodshort.com.
Can you get your money back?
The user agreement says "payments are non-refundable" except where the terms provide otherwise, with no partial refunds for cancelling mid-cycle, though GoodShort may choose to offer a refund at its own discretion.
If you paid through Apple or Google you can ask the store instead, and it decides case by case: Apple's refund request, Google Play's refund policy.
For a charge you think is wrong, GoodShort's terms give this address: [email protected].
Before you subscribe again
- Cancel right after you buy a week. Through Apple or Google you normally keep the week you paid for, and it will not renew.
- Line up what you want to watch first, then buy one week and finish it.
