How to cancel DramaBox
Cancel in the place you paid: Apple, Google Play, or DramaBox's own website. Deleting the app does not stop the charge. A pass renews every week until you cancel it where you bought it.
First, where did you pay?
- On an iPhone or iPad: almost always through Apple.
- On an Android phone: almost always through Google Play.
- On DramaBox's website, with a card or PayPal: in your account there.
Not sure? Look for the receipt in your email. It comes from Apple, from Google, or from DramaBox.
Cancel DramaBox on iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the DramaBox subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.
These are Apple's steps. No Cancel button, or an expiry date shown in red, means it is already cancelled. Apple Support
Cancel DramaBox on Android
- On your Android phone, open Subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the DramaBox subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
These are Google's steps. Google Play Help
If you paid on DramaBox's website
DramaBox's terms do not describe how to cancel. If you paid through Apple or Google, you cancel in that store's subscription settings.
Can you get your money back?
The terms say "all fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable", and that coins can only be used inside DramaBox.
If you paid through Apple or Google you can ask the store instead, and it decides case by case: Apple's refund request, Google Play's refund policy.
For a charge you think is wrong, DramaBox's terms give this address: [email protected].
Before you subscribe again
- Cancel right after you buy a week. Through Apple or Google you normally keep the week you paid for, and it will not renew.
- Line up what you want to watch first, then buy one week and finish it.
