Good to know
The most recent Kling film contest with a verifiable prize and winners. Announced September 12, 2025 (used as the opening date); the deadline was not found. Kling says it received over 4,600 submissions from 122 countries. tool_neutral is false because the organiser's post describes the films as made with Kling's video model; the written rules were not read. Makers are not named in the organiser's post; a Hollywood Reporter headline links 'Ghost Lap' to student filmmaker Josh Williams, but that article was not read. In 2026 Kling ran a Global 4K Short Film Creative Contest (one Gold winner from Malaysia and three Silver, about 9,000 entrants) and campus NEXTGEN contests in Korea and China, with a joint ceremony in Seoul on July 7, 2026; their prize amounts and winner names were not verified. The Activity Zone also lists a rolling series of small 'Kreate' contests, one of which is open now.
