Rules that matter
Original AI narrative video of at least 2 minutes, entered on both Douyin (with the contest hashtags and the AI self-declaration) and the Jimeng contest page. The work had to premiere on Douyin, with a 24-hour hold before posting on other platforms apart from Jimeng.
Good to know
Three tracks: open, set-theme and brand. The schedule fixed the final winner list on September 21, 2026; the results report says the contest wrapped on September 22, which is used as event_date. The launch report called the top tiers first, second and third prize; the results report calls them gold, silver and bronze, and that wording is used here. 128 shortlisted works: 1 gold, 10 silver, 20 bronze, 7 single-category awards and 97 shortlist awards of RMB 5,000. Shortlisted works made with Seedance 2.0 shared a further RMB 300,000. Tool rules are unclear: entry runs through Jimeng, but no source says other tools were barred, and the gold winner is reported as made on Xiao Yunque. The results report says 170,000 entries. English film titles are translations or transliterations; makers of the silver films were not listed in the source used. The Jimeng contest page was not read, so all facts come from the two news reports, and the results report is from a trade blog rather than Douyin itself.
